Rule 16-2 (Ball Overhanging Hole) states
"When any part of the ball overhangs the Nike sasquatch sumo2 5000 driver lip of the hole, the player is allowed enough time to reach the hole without unreasonable delay and an additional ten seconds to determine whether the ball is at rest. If by then Golf Clubs ball has not fallen into the hole, it is deemed to be at rest. If the ball subsequently falls into the hole, the player is deemed to have holed out with his last stroke, Taylormade r7 xr driver and Taylormade r7 cgb max driver he shall add a penalty stroke to his score for the hole; otherwise there is no penalty under this Rule."
Rule 16-2 addresses a very specific case of a ball overhanging the hole. The fact that the ball may still be in motion is irrelevant, since if the ball does not fall into the hole within 10 seconds of the player reaching the ball without unreasonable delay, the ball is Mizuno MP Craft 425 Driver deemed to be at rest. This rule ensures that the player will score the same on the hole whether the ball falls in after the ten-second time period has elapsed or if he plays the ball into the hole.
