Ernie Els took notice of what MCI Classic expert Davis Love did on the first two days to take a two-stroke lead over Steve Lowery.
Els carded a 5-under par 66 in his third round and Maruman majesty prestigio gold premium ladies driver moved into position for Sunday, ahead of Love who drifted away from Els on moving day.
But Love still managed to keep within firing range with a one under par 70 thanks to two tap in birdies at 17 and 18, but it is Els who has worked the hardest around the narrow treelined course in South Carolina.

"I think I've put the work in and it's time, I guess, for it to pay off," said Els
"I feel like my game's a lot closer than it seems."
